Eat, sleep, shake, repeat! Today in the spotlight: a healthy, fresh and creamy banana lemon shake. As for smoothie recipes, I like to vary with different types of flavors and this banana lemon recipe is a winner! This shake is made of nutrition-rich food and contains the hidden health benefits of lemon.
In a previous blog post (click here) I told you everything you need to know about the extreme health benefits of lemons and why I always start my day with a glass of lemon water. You might not be the biggest fan of the sour taste of lemon, but that problem is solved for this smoothie recipe. By adding the lovely taste of banana’s this healthy shake tasted extremely good and thus I have to share it on the blog with you!
I turned this banana lemon shake into a pre-workout shake, but you can also consume it on a rest day, as a post-workout shake or as a snack. Most important: this banana lemon shake is allowed to integrate into your bikini body diet and will contribute to a healthy and happy lifestyle!
– 250 ml water
– 2 scoops Lemon Ice Shake
– 1 banana
– 2 tbspn fat free quark
– 2 tbspn oats
– 1 tbspn hempseed
Optional: shredded coconut as a topping and honey to make it more sweet!

- Carbs: 40,3 g
- Fat: 8,1 g
- Fiber: 7,9 g
Cut the banana into slices and add it into a blender or mixer together with the water, quark, oats, hempseed and lemon ice shake scoops. Now add honey as an option to make it more sweet and mix well until smooth. Serve it with shredded coconut and hempseed as a topping for a crunchy bite. Feel free to be creative and pimp your shake with another topping to taste;)
