Tone it up with diet-friendly protein pancakes

Hip hip, hooray it’s time for pancake day! For me, pancakes are a childhood all-time favorite and thus I’m so happy with this recipe for diet-friendly protein pancakes. Are you a pancake fan and working on a bikini body? Read now why eating these protein pancakes are always a good idea!

In order to stick to my diet and keep the ‘fun’ in it, it’s important for me to eat something “sweet” now and then. And by something sweet, I mean something healthy and clean that suits my diet AND satisfies my cravings.

This recipe for high protein pancakes became a new addiction! Oe la la, how I love the taste.. so delicious, girls! Besides the fact that it doesn’t contain carbs that are slow digesting, this recipe is low in (good) fat, counts a lot fiber and a high dose of protein. I prefer to eat these protein pancakes for breakfast, as a post workout meal or for a snack. It’s easy to make and easy to bring with you to work or school. Who doesn’t love a pancake treat during the day, right?!

INGREDIENTS

1. 2 scoops of diet protein pancake
2. 2 scoops of water
1 serving: 3 small pancakes

MACRONUTRIENTS

  • Energy: 132 kcal
  • Protein: 8,7 g
  • Carbs: 21,3 g
  • Fat: 1,3 g
  • Fiber: 0,67 g

METHOD

Simply mix the protein pancake with water in a blender until smooth. Now pour the right amount of mixture in a pre-heated frying pan or hot griddle and flip when the edges start browning. Serve your pancakes on a plate and decorate it with fruit, nuts, honey, peanut butter, cacao, yogurt or any superfood. Ready to go!
