Why HIIT is the ultimate fat burner

If you have been on a diet, you have probably found out (just like me!) that it’s hard to not lose muscle mass along with fat. Too bad, because I always wanted to have both! Then my boyfriend told me to choose HIIT workouts and seriously girls, doing HIIT workouts has given me better results in less time! Today I’m gonna talk about why HIIT is the ultimate fast fat burner for you – are you ready?

What is HIIT?
First things first, let me explain what a HIIT workout is. A high-intensity-interval-training (HIIT) will let you train in intervals of different speeds. The main concept of a HIIT is to alternate between intense burst of activities and fixed moments of less-intense activities (or even complete rest!).

Why I think HIIT is the best!

Like I said, ever since I started HIIT it’s like I finally started seeing the changes I wanted so much. It’s not without no reason that research has shown that you can achieve more progress in 15 minutes of HIIT (3 times a week), than doing some jogging on the treadmill for an hour (3 times a week).

HIIT workouts will send your body into fat-burning overdrive. The big HIIT bonus is that once you completed your HIIT, the fat-burning party is not yet over! HIIT increases the resting metabolic rate, which means the fat-and calorie burning process will keep going and going for the following 24 hours.

Since it’s such a simple concept for which you need your body-weight only, you can adapt it to whatever time and space constraints you have. I’m always taking my HIIT’s with me on vacation, because you can seriously do it anywhere and anytime!

Like most of you might know already: I’m a big HIIT fan! It’s so easy to incorporate and vary and most important, it gives better results in less time. I can guarantee you that! HIIT helps me to increase speed, endurance, power, balance, metabolic rate and all of that helps me to burn fat and calories faster.
