DIP IT: The sweetest chocolate coated strawberries treat

Oh my gosh, today’s chocolate recipe tastes like heaven! What happens when you combine a sweet pretty little strawberry with some raw and organic cacao and healthy crunchy pistachios? Pure-love! Today’s recipe is allowed to integrate into your healthy and balanced diet, but moreover it’s very easy, fast and fun to make.

In today’s blog post I’m sharing my recipe to treat yourself with chocolate coated strawberries – yummy! As always, I like to keep it simple and guilt free by using raw, organic and healthy ingredients. Juicy strawberries, smooth rich cacao and crunch pistachios; what more does a girl want?

You can eat it for breakfast, or bring it with you to school or work for a healthy snack. Feel free to be creative and pimp your chocolate coated strawberries to the fullest! Alright! Grab your grocery shopping list and put below ingredients on it, because these healthy chocolate coated strawberries will let your heart melt.. pinky promise!

INGREDIENTS

– 500 gr strawberries
– 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
– 1 tbspn maple syrup
– 1 tbspn coconut oil
– 1/4 cup unsalted pistachios
– 1/4 unsalted walnuts

MACRONUTRIENTS

  • Energy: 150,6 kcal
  • Protein: 3,7 g
  • Carbs: 15,3 g
  • Fat: 10,3 g
  • Fiber: 4,6 g

 

METHOD

Place (melted) coconut oil and maple syrup in a bowl and mix them. Add the raw cacao powder and stir until the chocolate mixture is smooth. Now set aside and continue with a separate bowl with the pistachios and walnuts. Crumble a bit to make the nuts more crunchy. You’re ready to go! Dip the strawberries one by one into the chocolate mixture and next in the bowl with crumbled walnuts and pistachios. Place all your chocolate coated strawberries on a plate and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
